A charity quilt does not need to be fancy or a spectacular work of art. It needs to be colorful, warm and provide security. We touch

Charity items can be brought to the monthly Monday meeting for distribution.
Items made and donated have included:
- Large quilt tops with binding and backing that are quilted by long arm volunteers from our guild and the Des Moines Area Quilt Guild then distributed statewide to many in need.
- Adult and children’s quilts for Des Moines area hospitals
- Lap-sized throws for Mercy Cancer Center in honor of Phyllis Salsbury
- Port pillows for John Stoddard Cancer Center
- Pillowcases
- Placemats for Meals on Wheels
- Quilts for Orchard Place
- Wheelchair-sized lap quilts for local nursing homes (approximately 34"x44")
- Quilts for Sleep in Heavenly Peace (70"x90")
